Moving Again
I have just been looking at eBay, which I do periodically to see if I am being bootlegged, which has happened in the past. My out-of-print CD, Again, is selling there for $29.99. I have just found five copies at my parent's house, which I brought back to NY with me. They are the only ones I have, and was going to keep them, but instead am offering them for sale, signed to you personally, by name, with my own pen in my own hand, for $50.00 each plus $5 for shipping.
I was very proud of this CD when I recorded it in 1990, and I still am. It's the last one I did in Chicago, and it features some of the best players in that great jazz city. Ron Dewar, Art Lauer, and Rich Daniels on reeds, Art Davis, Chris Lay and Keith Hooper on brass, Mike Duggan, Don Mead, and Larry Gray on cello, and Linda Thomas on concert harp. All this is wrapped around a great rhythm section of Dean Rolando, keyboards, Jim Cox and Larry Gray, bass, Charles McFarlan on drums, and Neal Seroka on guitar.
Track list is:
Jumpin' at the Woodside
Something's Coming
Again
Oleo
Tout Bas (Speak Low, in French)
I've Got the World on a String
On the Street Where You Live
Lazy Afternoon
Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah
I've Got Just About Everything
My One and Only Love
So, if you want to be one of the lucky five - although you could buy them all and be the lucky One, I suppose - send me a comment (I moderate all your comments, and nothing is posted automatically) or an email through my website at www.laurelmasse.com (go to the Contact page), Tell me what amount to put on the invoice, and I will invoice you through PayPal. If you feel moved to send more than $50, you may, and thank you. I am doing this to help fund my unexpected but necessary move to a different apartment, which I have talked about in an earlier post. I'll be mailing the CDs out within a week.
Blessings, to all.
UPDATE! at 10:46 AM NY time: All gone! Thank you thank you thank you!
