Back on the block

Strange how the drive between New Haven and New York City can take an hour and a half, two hours, or four hours. There is a definite wrinkle in time somewhere along the way. Several years ago the going was so slow that I turned around, went home, and tried again the next day. This year the only problem was that I missed a sign, compensated by changing my route, and then missed another sign and had to backtrack. Coming home, though, was easy and quick. Jiggety jog.

As previously mentioned, the schedule at the Cabaret Conference is very intense and packed. It was hard to find the time and the energy at the same time to post here, so there's a lot of catching up to do, which I will try to accomplish over the next few days. Not tonight, though, because... I am going to be in the recording studio tomorrow with Tex Arnold! More on that later, I promise.

For now, sweet dreams.
